Jaguar Land Rover (Ningbo) Trading Co., Ltd. has announced a recall of a total of 54 imported Land Rover Defender vehicles from the 2020-2025 model years, manufactured between March 2, 2020, and July 2, 2024. The reason behind this recall is that aftermarket elevated body air intakes, which have been installed on these vehicles, may not have been properly secured due to part size tolerance issues. This could lead to detachment, posing a risk to the safety of other road users. To address this concern, the company will offer a free service to improve the installation method, ensuring that the parts are securely fastened to the vehicle body and thereby eliminating potential safety hazards.
