Starting from March 1, 2025, Porsche (China) Motors Ltd. has announced plans to recall 190 units of the 911 series, manufactured between February 16 and July 19, 2023. This recall action stems from an assembly defect affecting the rear seat belt buckles in certain vehicles. Specifically, the buckles, which are mounted to an aluminum soundproofing pad, may inadvertently cause the securing nuts to become loose. In the event of a collision, this could potentially heighten the risk of injury to rear seat passengers. As part of the recall process, Porsche (China) will conduct a complimentary inspection of the bolt connections for the affected seat belt buckles, repair the soundproofing pad, and retighten the bolts as necessary to mitigate any safety concerns.
