Space Honor Aerospace Technology Group has announced an investment of 3.3 billion yuan to establish a rocket production base in Chengdu, with a focus on manufacturing products comparable to SpaceX's Falcon 9 rockets. This facility will serve as the core hub for the production of reusable liquid carrier rockets, aiming to establish six production lines—four assembly lines and two testing lines—with an anticipated annual output of 20 Hyperbola-3 rockets. The Hyperbola-3, equipped with vertical recovery and landing capabilities, is poised for its maiden flight by the end of the year, aiming to meet the demands of the high-end space industry. As the first private Chinese company to achieve rocket orbit, this investment by Space Honor is expected to bolster its production efficiency and drive down costs.
