Global sales amounted to 785,600 units, experiencing a slight 0.1% uptick. Both figures represent new peaks for the month of January. Within Japan, production surged 22.3% to 266,000 units, while sales rose 12.5% to 126,500 units. Conversely, overseas production dipped 1.4% to 515,700 units, and sales fell 1.9% to 659,100 units. Notably, global sales of electric vehicles soared 18.1% to 382,500 units.
