Guangdong Province is swiftly advancing the development of a modern industrial system. Capitalizing on its robust manufacturing foundation, open innovation environment, and extensive market opportunities, the province is witnessing a continuous expansion of robotics industry applications, propelling the transformation and upgrading of various sectors. Encompassing all 31 major manufacturing categories, with 15 industries ranking top nationally in scale, Guangdong offers comprehensive support to the robotics industry. In 2024, Guangdong produced 246,800 industrial robots, marking a year-on-year growth of 31.2% and accounting for 44% of the national total. This signifies that nearly half of all industrial robots manufactured in China originate from Guangdong, underscoring the province's pivotal role in the industry.
