IIT Madras, backed by the Indian Ministry of Railways, has successfully completed the construction of the nation's maiden 422-meter-long Hyperloop test track. Leveraging cutting-edge magnetic levitation technology, this track is theoretically capable of attaining speeds as high as 1224 kilometers per hour, potentially reducing the travel time for a 350-kilometer journey to just 30 minutes. This milestone signifies the dawn of India's foray into Hyperloop initiatives.
