Beijing has recently showcased the prototype of the CR450 EMU, a high-speed train designed to travel at an impressive speed of 400 km/h. This prototype comprises two trains, the CR450AF and CR450BF, which have been developed and manufactured by Sifang Co., Ltd. and Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd., both esteemed subsidiaries of CRRC Corporation Limited. Currently, dedicated teams are rigorously engaging in a series of scientific tests and performance verifications on the prototype, aiming to expedite its commercial deployment. The unveiling of the CR450 EMU prototype signifies a significant milestone in China's advancing high-speed railway technology.
