On February 25, Beijing time, Bloomberg reported a steep decline in Tesla's overall sales in the European market, falling by 45% in January this year. According to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, Tesla's new car registrations totaled just 9,945 units, a marked decrease from the 18,161 units registered in the same period last year. Meanwhile, the overall sales of electric vehicles in the European market grew by 37%, and Tesla's competitors witnessed substantial sales growth in key markets like Germany and the UK.

Several factors contributed to Tesla's sales decline, including production line modifications and controversies surrounding CEO Elon Musk's political stances. Furthermore, competitors such as BYD have surpassed Tesla in sales in several European countries, further intensifying the market pressure on the electric vehicle giant.
