According to China EV100, all-solid-state batteries are anticipated to commence their integration into vehicles by 2027, with mass production forecasted for 2030. When compared to lithium-ion batteries, all-solid-state batteries exhibit notable enhancements in safety, energy density, lifespan, and charging efficiency. A significant milestone was reached in China's all-solid-state battery sector in 2024, marked by a surge in patent applications. Leading battery enterprises are focusing on sulfide electrolyte technology, with the objective of elevating the specific energy of automotive batteries to 400 watt-hours per kilogram. Experts predict that the industrialization of all-solid-state batteries will commence between 2027 and 2028, leading to large-scale mass production by 2030.
