On February 25th, He Xiaopeng, CEO of Xpeng Motors, shared a post on his WeChat Moments, warmly embracing the introduction of Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) system to China. He emphasized that this development will foster greater exchanges and advancements within the intelligent driving industry. Xiaopeng further disclosed that in the first half of the year, his company aims to conduct a comprehensive benchmarking of Xpeng's Turing AI intelligent driving technology against the world's foremost high-level autonomous driving capabilities, with the ambition to secure a leading position in China and globally in terms of functionality, performance, safety, and coverage. Notably, Xpeng has already achieved this milestone with the launch of the Xpeng P7+ in November 2022, and believes that technological equity will further instill trust in intelligent driving among a broader user base.
