Li Auto has recently undertaken personnel and organizational changes within its technical R&D division, focusing on intelligent space and AI base models. Chen Wei, previously the head of the Spatial AI department, has transitioned to lead the Base Model department under the Systems and Computing Group. In this new role, Chen Wei will oversee the self-development of the base model and report directly to Xie Yan, Li Auto's Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and head of the Systems and Computing Group. Concurrently, Jiang Huixing, who was previously the head of the Language Intelligence department within Spatial AI, has assumed the helm of the Spatial AI department, reporting to Gou Xiaofei, the vice president of Li Auto's Intelligent Space division.
