Lixiang Auto has revealed that its inaugural pure electric SUV, the i8, is inching closer to mass production and is anticipated to make its grand debut at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 23. As the pioneering model in Lixiang's 'i' series, the i8 is designed as a 6-seat mid-to-large-sized pure electric SUV, tailored for family travel, especially those with two children.
