On February 25, Tesla announced plans to roll out software updates in batches for its Chinese customers, with a particular emphasis on introducing the Urban Road Autopilot feature. This enhancement optimizes the existing Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) system, enabling vehicles to utilize Autopilot on both controlled-access highways and urban roads. Leveraging the navigation route, the vehicle can autonomously navigate exits, intersections, and traffic lights, performing actions such as going straight, turning left, turning right, and making U-turns. It also dynamically changes lanes based on speed and route efficiency. Additionally, when no navigation route is specified, the vehicle will select the optimal path for travel based on real-time traffic conditions.
