Recently, the Russian company Ramax published a ranking of car corrosion performance, placing Lixiang Automobile in second position, a revelation that has sparked intense online debate. In response, the Head of Material Technology at Lixiang Automobile dismissed the ranking as seriously flawed, citing three key reasons: the warranty period cited in the ranking differs from Lixiang's actual 5-year, 100,000-kilometer warranty; Lixiang's corrosion design guarantees no body sheet metal perforation or component failure due to corrosion for 12 years, which starkly contrasts with the ranking's claims; and, despite the ranking asserting a 2-year lifespan for Lixiang vehicles, no corrosion was observed during actual vehicle inspections.
