In February, Mercedes-Benz embarked on road testing its test vehicle, which is equipped with a newly developed solid-state battery program. This cutting-edge battery system is a collaborative effort between the Mercedes-Benz Battery System Technology Center and the F1 technology experts from AMG High-Performance Powertrain Ltd. Preliminary tests have revealed that the all-electric EOS model, powered by this solid-state battery, boasts a 25% enhancement in driving range, enabling it to travel up to 1,000 kilometers on a single charge.
