The National Energy Administration, in collaboration with relevant departments, will intensify efforts to implement the Guiding Opinions. This includes directing all regions to prioritize the utilization of existing land resources, such as parking lots, to expedite the planning and construction of charging infrastructure, particularly along highways. The objective is to establish a seamless and efficient intercity charging network that enhances public travel convenience. Concurrently, the State Administration for Market Regulation is jointly developing 20 national standards with pertinent departments. These standards encompass the Design Code for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations and the Trusted Protection Code for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure. The aim is to elevate the benchmarks for the construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of charging equipment, foster the adoption of high-power charging technology, and propel the standardized growth of the industry.
