XPeng GX, the flagship SUV from XPeng Motors, has recently completed over 8,000 kilometers of real-world testing in extreme environments across the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. The vehicle faced 45°C heat and complex desert road conditions while undertaking five high-difficulty challenges designed to push its ultimate performance to the limit. These tests included: conquering the 50-degree maximum-slope "Hill of Terror" in the Liwa Desert; driving 1,200 kilometers nonstop through Oman's uninhabited region without mid-journey recharging; conducting extreme-heat testing at Saudi Arabia's highest surface temperature of 61°C; verifying the trunk's half-ton loading capacity; and achieving 24-hour uninterrupted external power supply in the heart of the desert. The model has previously been launched in the Chinese market with both pure electric and super extended-range powertrain versions, and has simultaneously begun sales in 11 countries across the Middle East and Africa. This round of testing further verified its adaptability to different natural conditions.
