The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has drafted the Interim Provisions on the Management of Digital Identity Cards for Power Batteries of New Energy Vehicles and is now soliciting public comment. This initiative aims to implement policies for the recycling and utilization of power batteries, strengthen whole-chain supervision, and improve recycling and utilization standards. Comments should be submitted to the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization by December 6.
