Toyota Motor reported on November 5 its results for the first half of fiscal 2027 (April–September 2026): revenue reached ¥26.96 trillion, up 9.5% year on year; operating profit came in at ¥2.19 trillion, up 9.2% year on year; and net profit attributable to shareholders was ¥2.24 trillion, up 26.1% year on year. Toyota raised its full-year operating profit forecast for fiscal 2027 from ¥3.4 trillion to ¥3.9 trillion, and now expects revenue of ¥53.5 trillion and net profit attributable to shareholders of ¥3.57 trillion. The company also increased its full-year share buyback authorization by ¥300 billion to a maximum of ¥1.3 trillion, and plans an annual dividend of ¥100 per share.
