Preliminary statistics from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) show that from October 1-31, national passenger vehicle market new energy retail reached 1.148 million units, down 10% year-on-year and up 6% month-on-month; cumulative retail since the beginning of this year reached 8.907 million units, down 12% year-on-year. During the same period, manufacturer new energy wholesale reached 1.807 million units, up 12% year-on-year and up 8% month-on-month; cumulative wholesale since the beginning of this year reached 13.256 million units, up 10% year-on-year. October new energy retail penetration rate was 67.8%, and manufacturer wholesale penetration rate was 68.6%.
