On October 12, Liu Yan, the Deputy Secretary-General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), announced that Chinese automobiles have undergone a significant transformation in their global competitiveness. The focus has shifted from mere cost-effectiveness to a more comprehensive systemic competitiveness, with new energy at its core. This strategic pivot not only propels the global transition towards green and low-carbon development but also solidifies the long-term competitive edge of Chinese automobiles on the world stage. Since June of this year, China's automobile exports have consistently surpassed the 1 million unit mark for four consecutive months. Notably, new energy vehicle (NEV) exports have constituted over half of this total for the same duration, underscoring the growing prominence of China's NEV sector in the global market.
