Tesla is downplaying the nomenclature of Full Self-Driving (FSD) to facilitate the approval of its driving assistance system in Europe and to shed its long-criticized misleading name. Recently, Tesla has adopted the term "Tesla Assisted Driving (TAD)" on its European website, while the U.S. website still refers to it as "Full Self-Driving (Supervised)."
