On the evening of October 8, Zunjie Auto issued a statement addressing concerns over the fracture of the brake pedal bracket base. The company clarified that its braking system has been rigorously developed and validated throughout the entire process, adhering to standards that surpass both national (GB 21670-2025/GB 7258-2026) and industry-specific (QC/T 788-2018) requirements. Notably, no such fractures have been reported in the first batch of vehicles delivered to customers. Zunjie Auto underscored its unwavering commitment to user safety as its foremost priority. Even when subjected to non-standard, extreme testing conditions, the company is dedicated to ensuring an even higher safety margin. This will be achieved by refining the design of the affected component and offering complimentary upgrades to customers who have already received their vehicles. Furthermore, Zunjie Auto will undertake a comprehensive review and strengthen the design validation, testing protocols, and production quality management of related components, in a continuous effort to enhance its overall safety framework.
