According to reports, the UK is becoming one of the markets with the highest acceptance of Chinese cars among global industrialized economies. In the first half of 2026, one out of every six new cars sold in the UK was from a Chinese brand, with imports nearly doubling year-on-year. In September alone, the market share of Chinese brands surged to 23.3%, a record high. Among them, Jaecoo 7, a subsidiary of Chery, topped the UK monthly sales chart with 10,814 registrations, becoming the first model from a Chinese brand to claim the top spot in this market.
