On October 8, Dongchedi posted a video revealing that during a high-speed emergency braking test from 100km/h to a complete stop, the brake pedal brackets of three Zunjie V800 vehicles suffered fractures. This malfunction led to a total loss of foot brake functionality, leaving the vehicles to rely solely on shifting into the P (Park) gear for emergency braking. The incident quickly became a trending topic on hot search lists, and as a result, JAC Motors' stock price took a significant hit, plummeting to its daily limit. Zunjie is a brand co-developed by Huawei and JAC Motors, and as of now, neither company has issued an official response regarding the matter.
