On October 5 (local time), Lucid Group, an electric vehicle manufacturer based in the United States, unveiled its production and delivery data for the third quarter of 2026. The figures revealed that the company produced 2,954 vehicles and delivered 3,806 during this period, with deliveries surpassing production by a notable margin of 852 units. Lucid explained that this strategy is part of its proactive efforts to reduce inventory levels, achieved by channeling existing vehicles directly to customers. Notably, this marks the third consecutive quarter of production decline, with the current output hitting the lowest point since the first quarter of 2025.
