On October 6th, reports emerged indicating that Tesla had once again excelled in the South Korean market for imported passenger vehicles in September, clinching the number one sales position for the eighth consecutive month. Data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA) revealed that a total of 34,904 newly registered imported passenger vehicles were sold in South Korea during September, reflecting a 6.3% year-on-year increase. Among these, Tesla emerged as the clear leader, with sales reaching 12,372 units. This sustained dominance extends Tesla's market-leading streak since February. Following Tesla, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and BYD recorded sales figures of 6,066, 5,477, and 2,614 units, respectively.
