On September 29, BYD announced at its inaugural extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in 2026 that the recently launched Fangcheng S has garnered a pre-order volume that far exceeds initial expectations, eliciting enthusiastic responses from dealerships nationwide. Projections indicate that the monthly sales volume of this model could soar to between 10,000 and 15,000 units. The Fangcheng S marks the debut sedan under BYD's Fangchengbao brand, boasting a price range from RMB 189,900 to RMB 229,900. Additionally, the shooting brake variant, the Fangcheng S GT, is priced between RMB 219,900 and RMB 239,900.
