On September 29, the new energy vehicle power battery project (Xi’an Base) by BYD, situated in Qinhan New City within the Xixian New Area, was officially completed and initiated operations. Serving as BYD’s primary battery production center in the northwest region, this base stands as the inaugural manufacturing site for second-generation blade batteries and plays a pivotal role in the large-scale production of flash charging technology. The base encompasses the complete production cycle of power batteries, utilizes the MES intelligent manufacturing system, and ensures smart and efficient production processes. With the project now operational, it provides essential localized battery support for BYD’s vehicle manufacturing operations in Xi’an and strengthens the regional new energy vehicle industrial supply chain.
