During a recent media event, Honda declared its intent to integrate Momenta’s cutting-edge intelligent driving solution, with a phased rollout slated to commence with models launched in 2027. Among the array of Chinese tech collaborators highlighted by Honda, Momenta stands out as the exclusive supplier of advanced intelligent driving systems. The partnership will initially focus on the Chinese market before utilizing Momenta’s innovations, such as the R7 world model, to extend its reach across Honda’s global vehicle portfolio. This strategic move aims to propel the transition from L2 advanced driver assistance systems to L3 conditional automated driving. To date, Momenta has established alliances with multiple top-tier international automakers, with its intelligent driving systems now installed in over 1.2 million vehicles. The company commands a 65% market share among third-party providers of city NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) solutions, and its technology has been deployed in more than ten countries and regions. Momenta is advancing its global footprint by honing its technology in China and leveraging the product systems of global automakers to expand internationally.
