On September 28, NIO Holding and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group announced a strategic partnership. Under the battery swap collaboration, Geely Holding will acquire a 30% stake in NIO Power by contributing a 100% stake in YiYi Interconnection and RMB 640 million in cash. Following the transaction, YiYi Interconnection's battery swap operations for commercial vehicles will be fully integrated into NIO Power’s network. In the charging sector, NIO will invest in Hao Han Energy, a Geely Holding subsidiary, and secure a 10% ownership stake post-transaction.
