AITO has officially announced the impending launch of its latest M8, a family-centric smart flagship SUV. This new model comes equipped as standard with an architecture tailored for L3-level autonomous driving. It integrates Huawei’s ADS 5 intelligent driving system and a cutting-edge, omnidirectional stereo fusion perception system. The M8 promises a holistic enhancement across six key experience dimensions, setting a new benchmark for family-oriented smart flagship SUVs. As a collaborative effort within the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, the new M8 has been jointly designed and developed by SERES and Huawei. Pre-sales for this innovative vehicle are scheduled to commence on September 30.

The previous iteration of the AITO M8 made its debut on April 16, 2025, positioning itself as a mid-to-large-sized new energy SUV. It effectively bridges the market gap between the AITO M7 and M9, meeting the comprehensive travel needs of multi-member families. With a price range spanning from RMB 359,800 to RMB 459,800, the M8 offers two distinct powertrain options: extended-range and pure electric. Additionally, it provides both 5-seat and 6-seat configurations to cater to diverse family preferences. The vehicle is fully outfitted with state-of-the-art features in intelligent driving, cabin comfort, and safety protection, ensuring a premium driving experience for all.
