BYD hosted a launch event for its super-intelligent agent, Didi Shrimp, alongside the all-electric Denza N8L, marking a significant expansion of its AI partnership with Alibaba Cloud. The collaboration aims to integrate Alibaba Cloud’s QianWen large language model into BYD’s cockpit system. Built on the AIOS framework, the super-intelligent agent “Didi Shrimp” features advanced capabilities such as multimodal perception, tool integration, and skill customization, while also offering an open platform for developing other intelligent agents.
The QianWen AI cockpit solution has been successfully integrated into BYD’s cockpit cloud intelligence center for the first time, enabling the system to comprehend, analyze, and execute complex user requests. At present, BYD’s cockpit already leverages services powered by the QianWen open-source model and provides access to ecosystem services such as Fliggy. The two companies have a history of collaboration across various domains, and this latest partnership signifies an extension of their technical synergy into AI-driven applications.
Looking ahead, BYD and Alibaba Cloud plan to further strengthen their collaboration in smart cockpit development, global service expansion, and AI research and development. Together, they aim to steer the evolution of smart cockpits toward a future that is more intuitive, intelligent, and service-oriented.
