The L4 autonomous heavy truck, jointly developed by Pony.ai and GAC Lingcheng, made its debut at the Hannover International Commercial Vehicle Show. Based on the GAC Lingcheng T9 pure electric heavy truck platform, this vehicle is a new addition to Pony.ai's fourth-generation autonomous heavy truck family. It is expected to enter mass production within the year and be applied in scenarios such as mainline logistics. The vehicle is equipped with Pony.ai's fourth-generation L4 autonomous truck system and GAC Lingcheng's fully redundant drive-by-wire chassis, featuring 9 LiDAR sensors, 3 millimeter-wave radars, and 13 cameras. It also utilizes the same domain controller as the seventh-generation Robotaxi.
