Kia officially released teaser images and a video for its second electric Purpose Built Vehicle (PBV), the PV7. Built on the E-GMP.S platform, the PV7 features a van-style body design with a customizable interior space. The actual vehicle will make its global debut at the IAA Transportation 2026 commercial vehicle show in Hanover, Germany, on September 14. During the motor show, Kia will also unveil its latest strategic vision for the PBV business and showcase multiple derivative models of the PV5. Since its launch in 2025, the PV5 has accumulated global sales of over 39,000 units.
