The findings revealed that the Vehicle Inventory Alert Index for automobile dealers in August stood at 62.3%. This marks a year-on-year surge of 5.3 percentage points and a month-on-month uptick of 1.2 percentage points, pushing it beyond the critical threshold. According to the survey, the influence of vehicle purchase subsidies in certain regions on boosting terminal sales was rather limited. It is estimated that the terminal retail volume of passenger vehicles in August hovered around 1.6 million units.
