The Tesla Cybercab boasts an innovative feature—an RGB light strip positioned at the front—that displays distinct colors, serving as a unique identifier for passengers. This clever design is seamlessly integrated with the Robotaxi app, effectively minimizing the risk of passengers boarding the incorrect vehicle and ensuring precise fare calculation. In consideration of visually impaired and color-blind individuals, Tesla is exploring alternative identification methods to enhance accessibility. Following nearly two months of trial rides for employees, the Cybercab is set to officially commence public rides in Austin on September 3 (local time).
