FAW-Volkswagen has officially kicked off the pre-sale of its brand-new pure electric mid-size SUV, the ID.AURA T6. This vehicle is available in four trim levels, with pre-sale prices spanning from RMB 135,900 to RMB 169,900. Notably, the ID.AURA T6 stands as Volkswagen's inaugural pure electric model to be equipped with LiDAR technology.
In terms of dimensions, the ID.AURA T6 impresses with a length of 4,811mm, a width of 1,879mm, and a height of 1,648mm, complemented by a wheelbase of 2,836mm. Its design adopts a practical naturalist aesthetic, and customers can choose from six exterior paint color options to suit their preferences.
The intelligent cockpit of the ID.AURA T6 is built upon the locally developed CEA architecture. It is powered by a cutting-edge 4nm smart cockpit chip, enabling over-the-air (OTA) updates for the entire vehicle. The cockpit also features a large-size screen and an AI agent desktop, enhancing the driving experience with advanced technology.
When it comes to comfort, the ID.AURA T6 leaves no stone unturned. It is equipped with an 18-speaker sound system and a luxurious 'Queen's Co-Driver' seat, ensuring a pleasant journey for all occupants. Additionally, the vehicle offers ample storage space to accommodate various belongings.
The intelligent driving solution of the ID.AURA T6 is provided by Coretech. High-end models are particularly noteworthy, as they come with a 192-line LiDAR and a Journey 6H chip. Under the hood, the ID.AURA T6 utilizes a rear-mounted single-motor layout. It is equipped with two battery capacities sourced from CATL, offering CLTC range options of 540km and 660km, respectively. This ensures that drivers can enjoy long journeys without frequent charging stops.
