During the first half of 2026, Changan Automobile reported a revenue of RMB 65.634 billion, accompanied by a net profit attributable to shareholders amounting to RMB 817 million. The fluctuation in net profit was mainly driven by a decrease in sales volume and diminished exchange gains. However, when excluding the impact of exchange gains, the net profit actually witnessed a 12% year-on-year surge. Throughout the first half of the year, Changan Automobile successfully delivered a total of 1.1956 million vehicles, among which 456,000 were new energy models, marking a 5.2% year-on-year growth. Overseas shipments soared to 402,000 units, reflecting a remarkable 35.1% year-on-year increase. In the second quarter alone, overseas deliveries surpassed 240,000 units, demonstrating a 13.9% quarter-on-quarter rise and a staggering 73.2% year-on-year leap, with the gross profit margin for overseas operations exceeding 20%. Furthermore, the company's R&D expenditure constituted 7.78% of its revenue during the first half, experiencing a 0.35 percentage point year-on-year increase.
