On August 28, reports indicated that in a bid to standardize competition within the new energy vehicle sector, guarantee consistent product manufacturing and quality safety, and protect consumer rights, the No.1 Department of Equipment Industry under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology had earlier arranged and carried out a supervision and inspection initiative focused on the production consistency of new energy vehicle products for the year 2025. Now, several typical cases have been disclosed. All road motor vehicle manufacturers are urged to heed these cases as cautionary tales, strictly adhere to pertinent regulatory requirements, shun irrational competition, bolster supply chain management, elevate production consistency and quality safety benchmarks, and collectively uphold a fair and competitive market environment, as well as the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.
