BMW will introduce a series of upgraded active safety features in its New Generation models, with the mass-produced New Generation iX3 being the first to adopt them, followed by expansions to models such as the i3, X5, and 7 Series. Key highlights include: an upgraded door opening warning system that actively prevents dangerous door openings, and the debut of an industry-first emergency steering intervention function—both adhering to the principles of precise intervention and timely disengagement. These features are powered by a newly developed central computer, the 'Autonomous Driving Super Brain,' with approximately 20 times the computing power of its predecessor, and have undergone extensive testing at the Future Mobility Development Center in Sokolov, Czech Republic.
