Recently, a Tesla owner overseas recounted a harrowing close call, where the FSD (version v14.3.7) feature nearly triggered a catastrophic accident. As per the owner's account, while in an open-air, multi-story parking lot with ample lighting, the vehicle's FSD system failed to spot the wire mesh barrier at the floor's edge. It neither issued any warnings nor slowed down, inching perilously close to the brink. The driver swiftly intervened, slamming on the emergency brakes to avert a plunge off the 6th floor. Upon re-engaging FSD, the system bizarrely started moving in reverse.
