On August 24, Leapmotor (09863.HK) disclosed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that its revenue for the first half of 2026 surged to RMB 38.11 billion, marking a 57.2% increase from the RMB 24.25 billion recorded during the same period in 2025. This significant growth was primarily propelled by a higher delivery volume of complete vehicles and spare parts. During the same timeframe, the gross profit margin stood at 11.7%, reflecting a 2.4-percentage-point decline from the corresponding period in 2025. This decrease was mainly attributable to escalating raw material costs and shifts in the product mix of complete vehicles. Nevertheless, the gross profit margin in the second quarter of 2026 witnessed a rebound, reaching 12.6%—a 3.2-percentage-point improvement from the first quarter. Furthermore, in the first half of 2026, the net profit attributable to the company’s shareholders amounted to RMB 210 million, a substantial leap from the mere RMB 30 million reported during the same period in 2025.
