According to Carscoops, Nissan recently revealed at an event at its Yokohama headquarters that after adopting the R&D model of Chinese automakers, the development cycle for all-new models has been shortened from 50 months to 37 months, while facelifted models have been compressed from 50 months to 30 months, representing a 40% acceleration. A Nissan executive stated that the new generation Skyline took only 26 months from project initiation to completion. To enhance efficiency, Nissan has adjusted its strategies, streamlined its organizational structure, and extensively adopted AI modeling, digital twin, and virtual reality technologies.
