On August 7, Daimler Truck unveiled its financial results for the second quarter of 2026. The report revealed that the company's revenue from its physical (or entity) business surged to €11.4 billion, accompanied by an adjusted EBIT of €838 million and an impressive adjusted sales return rate of 6.8% for the entity business. Regarding sales volume, the group managed to sell a total of 86,707 trucks in the second quarter and secured 74,448 new orders. Building on the robust performance in the second quarter, Daimler Truck has also revised its performance expectations upward for the full year of 2026: the adjusted EBIT forecast has been lifted to a range of €3.6-4.1 billion, the sales volume projection has been increased to 340,000-370,000 units, the revenue forecast for the entity business has been raised to €43-47 billion, and the adjusted sales return rate for the entity business has been adjusted to 7%-9%.
