Dongfeng Nissan has proudly unveiled the official images of its latest addition to the N series—the all-new SUV model, the NX7. Sporting a design that exudes sportiness and youthful vigor, the NX7 stands out from its counterpart, the NX8, with a prominent LiDAR system mounted on the roof. This feature hints at the vehicle's anticipated advanced intelligent driving assistance capabilities. The NX7 flaunts a split-headlight design, an illuminated brand emblem, and incorporates modern design elements such as a floating roof and semi-hidden door handles, adding to its allure.
Judging by its name, the NX7 is likely to be positioned as a compact SUV, boasting smaller dimensions compared to the NX8. Consequently, its price is expected to be more budget-friendly. While the powertrain specifications are yet to be disclosed, there are expectations that two variants will be introduced later: a 1.5T range-extender and a pure electric model.
It's worth noting that the NX8 made its debut in April of this year, with a price range spanning from RMB 159,900 to RMB 209,900. Built on an 800V silicon carbide platform, it is outfitted with CATL lithium iron phosphate batteries and supports 5C ultra-fast charging. In June alone, a total of 5,398 NX8 units found their way to customers, comprising 2,939 pure electric models and 2,459 range-extender models.
