Recently, Jienzhi, an intelligent driving company that has successfully undergone integration, has embarked on a fresh round of staff reduction, with expectations to lay off more than 200 employees. Since the merger of Jienzhi Robotics and NavInfo's intelligent driving business at the end of 2025, less than a year has elapsed, and the company has already carried out several rounds of staff optimization. This strategic adjustment is designed to curtail labor costs, streamline internal organizational structures, and focus resources on the research and development of core autonomous driving algorithms as well as in-vehicle mass production projects. In the meantime, problems such as redundant organizational frameworks and ambiguous labor divisions—remnants from the business integration—also serve as significant catalysts for this large-scale optimization initiative.
