Porsche Reports 16.5% Year-on-Year Drop in Deliveries for First Half of the Year, Yet Operating Profit Surges to €1.348 Billion

On July 29, Porsche unveiled its financial data for the first half of 2026, revealing a decline in sales revenue. Specifically, the revenue dipped from €18.157 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year to €17.229 billion. However, in a contrasting trend, the operating profit witnessed a significant upswing, climbing from €1.007 billion to €1.348 billion. The return on sales also improved, rising from 5.5% in the same period last year to 7.8%. Moreover, the EBITDA margin for the automotive segment saw a notable increase, jumping from 16.0% to 18.3%. During this timeframe, vehicle deliveries experienced a 16.5% decrease, totaling 122,306 units. Additionally, the proportion of purely electric vehicles within the automotive business also contracted, dropping from 23.5% in the same period of the previous year to 19.4%.
