China has inaugurated its inaugural vehicle humidity and heat testing export base in Qionghai, Hainan Province. The initial phase of this base features six test roads, all outfitted with advanced intelligent sensing equipment. These roads are designed to facilitate critical tasks, including the final verification of vehicle models destined for export and the simulation of humidity and heat conditions prevalent in overseas markets. This development significantly reduces the time required for overseas testing by domestic automakers and offers robust technical support to bolster China's auto export industry. In recent years, China's auto exports have witnessed remarkable growth, with export volumes escalating annually since 2023. By the first half of 2026, cumulative exports had surpassed the 5 million unit mark, reflecting a substantial 65.3% year-on-year increase.
