On 1, Toyota Motor Corporation made an announcement revealing its plans to introduce the reverse-imported U.S.-assembled SUV, the 'Highlander' hybrid model, throughout Japan starting from August 1. The vehicle will carry a price tag of 8.6 million yen (equivalent to approximately RMB 360,000). This particular model made its debut in Tokyo back in April, with an initial sales target of 40 units per month across the nation. By the end of June, the company had received around 10 orders, predominantly from customers in high-ranking corporate positions.
